This automaton is a remake of the traditional 18th- and 19th-century mechanical doll. The figurine presents a "Noble Monkey" in a Baroque-style costume.
His head and both hands move. He holds a wand in his right hand, and opens the wooden box with his left. Every time he opens the box, a different object appears on the table (4 objects total). The music to which the Conjurer performs is Canon in D Major by Johann Pachelbel. (1653-1706)
