Conjurer Series
Marquis, the Sorcerer's Apprentice, and the Monkey Conjurer are three of the six dolls in a collection, each representing a historical replica of classic automata "Conjurer."
Like their 18-19th century prototypes, they perform their tricks with magic wands. Every time they lower and lift the velvet cone the number of objects on the golden plate is different. They have period costumes, spades, leather shoes, rich wigs, and hats trimmed with feathers.
However, unlike the tricks of their older "brothers," these Conjurers show six changes. They also raise both hangs, nod their heads, and move their eyes (optional). The total number of movements is five or six, including the music.
The entire unique action fits inside the thin table top, less than one inch of thickness. The table top itself is made of black walnut and has inlay on the upper surface.
A special powerful winding motor has been designed and made by the creator for this doll.
Music action has 78 or 50 notes and two tunes. It is gold-plated and has a nice rich tone.
